- HJ Investigations Review added: 2018.04.03★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Make sure you have cash at the cafe. Twice now my wife and I have gone there and being in the 21st Century usually only have Cards (Direct Debit). Apparently their card machine was on the blink again, so cash only. The young man who was taking the order clearly had no customer service training or indeed a little common sense, as he went through the whole order and then by chance I asked him can I pay by card (reason being last time the machine was on the blink (thankfully I had a little cash that time). He stated no, as the card machine was on the blink. Now think about this and the embarrassment this would have caused, as they do not take payment until the order is given and you are leaving after eating and drinking the product. Imagine going up to the counter and offering the card and finding that the machine is on the blink. So a bit of advice now it has happened twice to us as a couple and you the Cafe owners clearly are not in a hurry to get the issue sorted, remind your staff to start the conversation off with 'cash or card'. It safes yourselves time and it most certainly saves time for us as customers.
